Friday wrapped a week of parent-teacher conferences. I am truly thankful my kids come from such loving and supportive families. You were receptive of our conversation and showed great eagerness in how to build on your child’s learning. I truly feel a great partnership between school and home. It also warms my heart to hear how the kids chant our word chunks or show the sign language gestures at home, too.
Take a look at these STEM tubs. This group was so focused with heads-together in solving their task. They were tasked at making the longest line with the cards. Look at how they are trying to work through the problem of an obstacle (pocket chart in their path). I said it’s as if I was the mayor asking the engineers to build a road. And you come across a mountain. Instead of giving up and saying it can’t be done. You make a tunnel through the mountain, laying out the road as tasked!
