We got our hands dirty with some planting. We planted bird seeds. First we decorated our cups to make a face. When the bird seeds sprouts, it might look like some hair on our plant friend. Students got to take home it the last day of school. Put it in the sun and watch it grow!
Here we are in our google party. Let the kids go on google and let them see what they can do: google classroom, google slides and youtube to name a few. It’s the weekend past the last day of school and I am still getting notifications of students on google classroom. This would be a great summer activity. Make a journal of your summer days, write a story, make a fairy tale, do an animal report, do a non-fiction piece, etc.--on google slides. They can share it with another student. Of course, they can share it with me, too! Students can also still access the online programs of lexia, splashmath, xtramath, spellingcity, and typingclub. This would be great learning activities to do as part of the daily summer routine (especially before playing with tech gadgets).
