Bus, animals, lunch, biggest playground, and rides--best field trip ever! We had so much fun at the animal zoo. Kids were excited to see the various animals we have been talking about it in our habitat study. We saw the moosafa running across the yard. The meerkats stood on its hind as the lookout! The lemurs were lounging in the tree. Did you see the jaguar? Was it camouflaging against the rocks and trees? We got to feed the farm animals. Listen to it on our audioboom. The following Monday we wrote a journal entry about our zoo field trip. We wrote it on a google slide.
Look at our amazing garden. We planted some donated plants and seeds. In the corner are pumpkin seeds. Let’s see it thrive come fall! Then we planted a variety of flower plants like marigolds, petunias, and gerber daisy. We planted a variety of seeds like milkweed (come and visit, monarch butterflies), cosmos, and daisies. We also got to each plant our own pumpkin seed in an individual cup to take home.
